Our Mission

Our Journey So Far

For more than a century, Camden Hunt Country has been defined by a deep respect for the land and the traditions rooted within the Carolina Sandhills. Through the leadership of The Camden Hunt and the stewardship of generations of landowners, riders, and supporters, the region’s open fields, pine forests, and trail-laced countryside have been carefully preserved as part of a living cultural landscape.

Recognizing the importance of safeguarding this remarkable territory for the future, The Camden Hunt established The Camden Hunt Conservancy to formalize and strengthen these ongoing preservation efforts. Guided by a legacy of stewardship, the Conservancy continues this work with a dedicated focus on land protection, conservation awareness, and the long-term preservation of Camden Hunt Country’s natural and historic character.
